Streamed live on Jan 24, 2015

EWTN’s own Jim and Joy Pinto, hosts of “At Home With Jim & Joy,” will once again host EWTN’s live coverage of San Francisco’s 2015 “Walk for Life” – with “Life on the Rock” Hosts Fr. Mark Mary and Doug Barry on the ground and in the crowd! The event airs live at 2:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, January 24.

Blockbuster testimonies that day will include:

• Julia Holcomb, who met Aerosmith Lead Singer Steven Tyler when she was only 15. She says she became pregnant because Tyler wanted a child, then pressured her into having an abortion.
• Rebekah Buell, a woman who took the first dose of the two-part abortifacient RU486 – and then changed her mind, and,
• Clenard H. Childress, Jr., founder of BlackGenocide.org.
• Jim & Joy Pinto, who will offer their personal testimonies in addition to hosting the event.

The “Walk” will also feature a special guest: Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganó, apostolic nuncio to the U.S., who will bring a special message of support from Pope Francis!

NOTE:  My question to all of society now and in the future is this:  What rights do the unborn have?  I see nothing in the Law Codes regarding their rights.  How can this be?  Who really has the right to give life and take it away?  Who really decides their fate?  Does one have all the education to make an informed decision regarding this life?

Please read this and think about it.

When will we make abortion rare?

God Bless to all and Peace to all who have life and were spared.

If every innate or natural desire we have points to some objective state of affairs that fulfills it, then our innate desire for ultimate joy points to a supernatural source of fulfillment.

Live and complete coverage of the largest pro-life event of the year: the 2015 March For Life in Washington, DC.

Someone maybe missing in our society that was necessary to life.  Look around you and be grateful abortion wasn’t your mother and father’s option.

The chose life for you.  A life well lived not matter how much society tries to make out differently.

As a scholar of ancient and Middle Eastern history, culture, and religion, Fr. Mitch Pacwa examines the ramifications of the translation and interpretation of Sacred Scripture out of their proper context.

(This talk was originally given in 2004 at the CHNetwork’s “Deep in History” conference)

About the Deep in History Talks from the CHNetwork:

The early period of the growth of Christianity (ca. A.D. 50-700) is a rich source for learning how the earliest disciples and apostles of Jesus Christ passed on the “faith delivered once and for all to God’s holy ones” (Jud 3). From Ignatius of Antioch in the early second century to Gregory the Great in the early seventh, the story of the Church’s proclamation in winning over pagan culture to Christ is widely diverse in practice and wonderfully unified in doctrine. The faith of these early Saints inspires and challenges us to live more deeply in love with Christ and in continuity with our forbearers in Christ.

We hope these resources take you deep into the history of Christ’s Church and thereby deeper into Christ. Please visit:

Truth2Freedom's Blog

"There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
