Breitbart links to The Remnant’s Open Letter to President Trump, asking for an investigation into U.S. interference in Pope Benedict’s resignation, after Italian archbishop says Benedict resigned under “tremendous pressure.” Plus, a Protestant minister’s reaction to Pope Francis on atheists, EWTN, Phil Lawler and Deal Hudson on Pope Francis’s revolution and, finally, Michael Matt has a message for sedevacantists.

The above is an article on a teaching moment in Rome by Benedict XVI.   These little messages are relevant to all of us today.

We need these small moments from the Holy Father to understand the nature and welfare of our faith.  This faith that needs strength from his words–a chance to find love in that faith through Jesus Christ.

Quoted from above video:

“God can work “good things and even prodigious ones” in every area, even where sometimes man does not expect it. This was just one of the thoughts Pope Benedict XVI had for the faithful at the Angelus this Sunday, during which he also pointed out that there are different ways to cooperate in the Kingdom of God and that the members of the Church should not feel jealousy, “if someone from outside the community should do good in the name of Christ.” The Holy Father went on to say, “Even within the Church itself, it can happen that one might have difficulty in valuing and appreciating the good things done by the various ecclesial realities.” Nevertheless, the Pope continued, “We have to be able to apprecia …”

Children of God trust in Jesus’ infallibility and His advocate the Holy Spirit.  Trust in His vicar who He has given authority to teach and not leave us orphans in this dark world.  The Holy Spirit that we cannot see works in this world and can repel the darkness.  Trust in Jesus Christ.

Today we hear, “Why be a Priest?” because of all the scandals and were in the so called “enlightened age”.

Im including this video because as a Catholic Im asked questions about everything from the Bible to the Priesthood.

I hope this answers many of your questions as to why these Priests actually answer the call to the Priesthood.

It is not easy and it was never meant to be.  It was instituted by Jesus Christ and comes from the Old Testament.

One is never deserving of the Priesthood and it never will be.  Jesus called men for whatever reason.  He didnt call we women and I dont feel slighted in anyway because I know that Jesus’ has always loved us and always will.  He understood and understands the men and women of all ages in all ways.   Trust in Him.

He knows why He wants you men to be a Priest and at least the one’s He calls to do this brave job.  The Priesthood is not for the cowardly or for just anyone but for the courageous.   You cannot be courageous for Jesus unless you follow Jesus.   He said we couldnt do it without Him and we never will.  He calls all but not all are called to this life.

He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.   That is what He calls the Priesthood to do.  You can only be brave when you follow a great General.  The Lord is the Great King who is the Great Priest and who is the Great Prophet.

Jesus is calling you and His Servant Benedict XVI is calling you as will other popes look for you.

Do you feel your being called to this wonderous, mysterious calling in the Great Vineyard?  Say yes if you are. Its a vocation not a job.  We need you.   The world needs you and is calling you into the world but not of it.

With Him all things are possible.

Love and Peace brothers and sisters.
