“All of us who are clerics should be aware of the great sin and ignorance which some people have toward the most holy Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and His most holy written words which consecrate [His] Body. We know that it cannot become His Body without first being consecrated by [His] word. For in this world we have and see nothing corporally of the Most High except [His] Body and Blood, and the words through which we have been made and have been redeemed “from death to life.” But let all who administer such holy mysteries — especially those who administer them carelessly — consider the sad state of the chalices, the corporals, and the altar-linens upon which the Body and Blood of our Lord are sacrificed. And [the Body and Blood of the Lord] is left by many in dirty places, carried about in a miserable manner, received unworthily, and administered to others without discretion. Even His sacred written words are sometimes left to be trampled underfoot; for “the person who does not have the spirit does not perceive the things of God.”

Are we not moved by a sense of piety concerning all these things, since the good Lord offers Himself into our hands and we handle Him and receive Him daily with our mouth? Or do we forget that we must come into His hands? Well then, let us quickly and firmly amend our ways in these and other matters; and wherever the most holy Body of our Lord Jesus Christ has been unlawfully housed and neglected, let it be removed from that place and deposited and locked in a precious location. Likewise, wherever the written words of the Lord may be found in unbecoming places, they are to be collected and kept in a place that is becoming. And we know that we are bound to observe all of these matters above all else according to the precepts of the Lord and the constitutions of holy Mother Church. And whoever has not done so, let him know that he will be bound “to give an account” before our Lord Jesus Christ “on the day of judgment.” Those who make copies of this writing so that it may be better observed should know that they will be blessed by the Lord God.

– St. Francis of Assisi, A Letter to the Clergy

This letter shows St. Francis’ tremendous love for the Blessed Sacrament and the Word of God. Clearly this is no mere hippie, nature lover but a man of God. Reject any notion of the “bird bath saint” when it comes to St. Francis. He was a strong voice for reform in the the Church. This is why I love St. Francis!”

BLOGGER’S NOTE:  CATHOLICS PLEASE REFER TO CANON 915 BEFORE YOU RECEIVE COMMUNION.  MAKE SURE YOUR NOT LIVING IN A STATE OF SIN.  THAT INCLUDES THE FADS TODAY SUCH AS LIVING IN SIN, NOT HAVING YOUR LIFE EVALUATED BY THE CHURCH IF YOU HAVE BEEN MARRIED MORE THAN ONCE, EXCEPTING THE MODERN VIEW IN GENERAL TODAY.  YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS SO DONT JUSTIFY OUR SINFUL WAYS TO RECEIVE COMMUNION WITHOUT GOING TO A PRIEST IN CONFESSION.  ITS AS SIMPLE AS I CAN MAKE IT. PLEASE READ THE CATECHISM ON SIN AND RECEIVING COMMUNION FOR FURTHER REFERENCE.  IF YOU HAVE A HARD TIME UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE CATECHISM SAYS PLEASE SEE YOUR PRIEST. AMEN.

Today we are seeing so many political sides and ideologies.  The world wants you to believe that the Catholic Church is wrong about everything even the truth.

Repeatedly I say to you all:  She (The Bride) is in the world not of the world.   This is the key and the dissenters just arent getting it or understanding this concept.   She cannot go against what our Lord has put assunder sort of speak.   The world wants us to drop the cross and pretend there is no suffering or that suffering must be taken out of the picture.  As human beings we will always suffer in some form or another, He will always ask us by our own free will to pick up the cross and follow me.   These are your walking orders.  Take them or leave them.  God gave us the free will to serve or not to serve.

My hope is that we will all serve and that our souls will belong to Him and not evil.  It is not easy and it never has been and will never be easy.  That is why we have each other.

She has walked with the truth for over 2000 years.  This law still includes some of the law in the Hebrew (5) books of the bible.   These truths have never changed in thousands of years.  These books are the Old and New Testaments.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Annoited One promised in the Old Testament.  He never came to change these laws taught by Moses passed to us by I AM—GOD Himself. He was sent to fulfil that law of the Old Testament and make things new.

This is a simple article because brothers and sisters I am a simple laywoman.  I do not have any certificate proclaiming I’m a bible scholar.  I am a simple, human frail person as everyone else is since the time our parents began from “the Fall”.

I suffer from these human frailties as do we all struggle.   Nothing has changed today in our so-called modern times we just got new technological “toys”.  The church didn’t change her precepts from Christ.  They stay the same in season and out of season.

This does not give us the Freedom to do what we want to do but to do what we aught to do.

This is posted on this blog in the wake of the suffering of our brothers and sisters of Norway.  May our Lord give them love, compassion and understanding at this time.  My heart goes out to all of their families.

Anarchy is not the way to change or the way to help human suffering in this world.  This is not true Freedom.

This is the definition of Anarchy:

  • Absence of any form of political authority.
  • Political disorder and confusion.
  • Absence of any cohesive principle, such as a common standard or purpose.

ETYMOLOGY:
New Latin anarchia, from Greek anarkhi, from anarkhos, without a ruler : an-, without ; see
a-1 + arkhos, ruler ; see -arch

I will not go into a long assessment of the above. I will try to make this simple as I can in my understanding of Jesus Christ when He was confronted by the authorities.

He never questioned their authority.  He simply told them that they could not crucify Him unless the order had been given to them by the Father.  The Lord submitted to the high authority of His Father for our sakes.  He never questioned the authority of the time He only proposed the Kingdom of God.

It could also be summed up as this in our Lord’s words:  Give unto Ceasar what is Ceasar’s and give unto God what is God’s.

The first martyrs of the early church understood this maybe even better than we do today.

The only explaination I can give all of you is to get yourself a good Catholic Bible and join a good bible study in your local church. If this is impossible or difficult in your parish (Nothing with God is impossible.) and Father has the time you might want to approach him with your questions.  He maybe able to direct you in the right direction to understanding in our Lord Jesus and His commands.

I have many resources on this blog and will try to keep adding as I go along.  God Bless you All.

Long live the Bride and may we serve her and she us.

The above are the best videos I could pick for Eucharistic Adoration.  There are more on You Tube for your benefit and study.

The above gives you some indication of how special Eucharistic Adoration is to us as a Catholic Christian people.

The Lord instituted this practice and left it to carry on in His Priesthood.   He by rights is the true High Priest but He left instructions for His people to be a priestly people.

He instituted the the Holy Priesthood for himself to leave with His people for our benefit and times.   To remember and serve Him as He asked until His blessed return.

Eucharistic Adoration is one of the most important teachings in the church next to the Mass.  It does not replace the Mass in way but it is important to our prayer life like the Mass.

It is important we pray and meditate in front of the blessed sacrament especially in our times.   It never has gone out of style or practice.

We must uphold this imporant gift to the church.  It is after all the Real Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He said He would be with us always and that is why we have the consecrated host made so at the Sacrament of the Mass by our chosen priesthood.  Through their consecration and sacrafice to Him we always have Him near us.

So if you can try to participate in this very instrumental practice of faith.
