Liberty is the freedom to do what God desires

“In respect of the institutions the God-slayers are targeting, that standard is the one uplifted by St. Paul in the Epistle to the Galatians, when he wrote to those he had discipled, saying:
Stand fast, therefore, in the Liberty wherewith Christ has made us free. … For, brethren, you have been called to liberty. Only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all law is fulfilled in one word, even this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you be not consumed of one another. (Galatians 5:1, 13–15)”

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7
Our Heavenly Father cares about us. He knows our future like we knew our past. One thing He doesn’t want us to do is to worry about things we can’t do, and those we can. Jesus said “don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.” God knows you need a job. He knows you need a child. He understands everything you are going through. He knows that you need increase in everything you do. He knows what will happen in your life tomorrow, next week, next month, and even next year. Why do you worry about the little things you can’t fix with your strength? Give all your worries and care to God, for he cares about you. Jesus said it is unbelievers who allow thoughts about their future, job, accommodation, food, marriage, child bearing, etc dominate their thoughts.
Carrying your worries, stress, problems, and daily struggles by yourself shows that you have not trusted God fully with your life. When you trust God, you give all your worries and cares to him. When you trust God, you wake in the morning and say Father I don’t know how this can be but I am giving everything to you. Philippians 4:6-7 says “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” That is how you give all your worries and cares to God.
When you choose not to give all your worries and cares to God, that is when depression, fear, high blood pressure, and all sort of sicknesses come in. this is because as you think about how to get things done your way, Satan comes in to steal your joy, happiness, and strength. God wants you to place all your burdens on him, and he will take care of you. As we have started this year, it is my prayer that we give all our worries and cares to the Lord. He cares for us, and He will take care of us. He will not permit us to slip and fall. He is a covenant keeping God.
