“This just in from John Solomon of the Hill:
John Solomon: Well, I interviewed Mr. Mifsud’s lawyer the other day, Stefan Rowe, and he told me and also provided me some deposition evidence to both Congress and myself that his client was being directed and long worked with Western intelligence. And he was being directed specifically, he was asked to connect George Papadopoulos to Russia, meaning it was an operation, some form of intelligence operation. That was the lawyer’s own words for this. If that’s the case that means the flash point the (sic) started the whole investigation was in fact manufactured from the beginning.”

What’s going to happen to the Catholic priesthood? Are we witnessing the beginning of the end of the visible Church?

With the largest fraternity of traditional Catholic priests in the world recently accused of harboring predators and becoming a safe haven for abusive priests, Michael J. Matt considers the ramifications of weaponizing the clerical abuse crisis.

Should we operate under the presumption of guilt, or do we stand in defense of the right of every priest in the world — Novus, Sede, Trad and Neo-Cath — to have benefit of due process and the rule of law?

Have we learned anything from the case of Cardinal Pell?

Is an accusation the same as a conviction if we happen not to like a particular priest, bishop or society? What happens when all the priests disappear? No Confession, no First Communion, no Last Rites.

Plus, why are there no priests left in the Protestant sects? Michael Matt argues it’s because the purpose of the priesthood — the Sacrifice of the Mass — was removed.

So, what’s happened to the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church? It’s been Protestantized.

Michael J. Matt visits the shrine of Our Lady at Akita in Japan. There he discovers an apparent conspiracy to silence and cover up the apparitions of Our Lady to Sister Agnes Sasagawa back in 1973.

After an 11-year investigation, Bishop John Shorjiro Ito (Nilgata, Japan) approved the miracles that had happened at Akita as well as the messages given to Sr. Agnes, expressing his firm conviction that the message was essentially Our Lady’s attempt to deliver the same message she’d delivered at Fatima which, according Bishop Ito, had been largely ignored.

So, why the continued cover-up of Our Lady’s dire warnings for the world, both at Fatima and Akita? Could it be that the Third Secret of Fatima is essentially the third message of Our Lady of Akita?

Why did the Bishop of Tokyo later dismiss the message of Our Lady of Akita?

What’s going on here, and why are Our Lady’s repeated attempts to save us being frustrated by Modernist bishops and popes of the post-conciliar Catholic Church?

Michael Matt offers some startling insights from Akita, Japan.

Michael Matt teams up with the Oken Rekishi Kenkyukai in Tokyo for a weekend conference on the principles of the French Revolution and how they impact our world still today, 230 years later.

Michael’s talk (simultaneously translated into Japanese) answers the questions: what can Catholics today learn from the French Vendeans who resisted the French Revolution to become the original Traditional Catholics?

What can the remnant of Catholic believers around the world today learn from the “first responders” against the New World Order in the Vendee as well as from “Hidden Christians” of Japan who kept the faith for over 250 years — without the mass and without priests?

This talk had to be presented in strict cooperation with the Japanese simultaneous translator. The Japanese translations were edited out but will be made available when RTV returns from Japan.

As part of the RTV documentary “Hidden Catholics,” Michael J. Matt interviews one of three or four traditional Catholic priests in Japan — Father Thomas Onada, a Japanese convert who is now a priest of the SSPX.

Every week, Father visits the small traditional Catholic remnant on an Asian circuit that includes Osaka and Tokyo, thus serving the Church as missionary priest to the ‘hidden Catholics’ of Japan who have kept the old Faith in a place dominated by Buddhists and Shintoists.

(In this video, priests from Paris were visiting Father Onada’s tiny Japanese community–a big day indeed!)

His story will touch your heart and fill you with hope. And after the interview, don’t miss the beautiful images of our Japanese traditionalist brothers and sisters.

Reporting from Tokyo, Michael J. Matt comments on cultures largely untouched by Christianity and how they differ from, say, Europe.

As Europe and America prepare to banish Christ from their borders, what can we learn from countries such as Japan that never embraced Him? Since Catholicism is, according to its critics, responsible for all the evil in the world, is this a good thing for Japan? Do the Catholic-bashing revisionists have a point?

Plus, Michael speaks of the Japanese Traditional Catholic movement, strong but very small, which this weekend will host a counterrevolutionary conference and then take part in Tokyo’s pro-life march–another small but thriving movement here.

And, finally, Michael launches into a trademark rant against Christophobic revisionist history, especially regarding the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades and the Spanish conquest of Mexico. Do you think he’s got a point, or is he the one drinking the cool aid?

From the Editor’s Desk, Michael J. Matt comments on veteran journalist Damion Thompson losing his job as Editor-In-Chief of the Catholic Herald for telling the truth about the Amazon Synod. So, who’s next?

What’s a faithful Catholic to do in the face of what Walter Cardinal Brandmuller calls “heresy” and “apostasy” at the highest levels of the Church?

What does Catholic resistance to the pontificate of Francis look like?

Plus, as the worldwide remnant unites in opposition to Francis, Michael heads off to Japan next week to take part in a major event being hosted by the traditional Catholic remnant of Japan.

And, finally, a word on the dire warnings of Our Lady of Akita and how to prepare for the worst. In Japan, persecuted Catholics survived for 250 years without priests and the Mass. Are we ready to take a similar stand?
