Streamed live on Jan 24, 2015

EWTN’s own Jim and Joy Pinto, hosts of “At Home With Jim & Joy,” will once again host EWTN’s live coverage of San Francisco’s 2015 “Walk for Life” – with “Life on the Rock” Hosts Fr. Mark Mary and Doug Barry on the ground and in the crowd! The event airs live at 2:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, January 24.

Blockbuster testimonies that day will include:

• Julia Holcomb, who met Aerosmith Lead Singer Steven Tyler when she was only 15. She says she became pregnant because Tyler wanted a child, then pressured her into having an abortion.
• Rebekah Buell, a woman who took the first dose of the two-part abortifacient RU486 – and then changed her mind, and,
• Clenard H. Childress, Jr., founder of BlackGenocide.org.
• Jim & Joy Pinto, who will offer their personal testimonies in addition to hosting the event.

The “Walk” will also feature a special guest: Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganó, apostolic nuncio to the U.S., who will bring a special message of support from Pope Francis!

NOTE:  My question to all of society now and in the future is this:  What rights do the unborn have?  I see nothing in the Law Codes regarding their rights.  How can this be?  Who really has the right to give life and take it away?  Who really decides their fate?  Does one have all the education to make an informed decision regarding this life?

Please read this and think about it.

When will we make abortion rare?

God Bless to all and Peace to all who have life and were spared.

Ahead of Historic Sainthood Mass, Pope Francis Speaks Out Against AbortionThe big story this weekend was Pope Francis’ elevation of Popes John XXIII and John Paul II to sainthood. The “four-pope mass” was noteworthy not only because two popes (John XXIII and John Paul II) had never been canonized at the same time, but also because two living popes (Francis and the papal emeritus Benedict XVI) had never been present for a canonization. They were joined by nearly a million other people in Vatican City.

The Holy See also sought to dispel the public curiosity about the canonization of two men who were considered to be dogmatically very different; the “liberal” Pope John XXIII and the “conservative” John Paul II.

“They were priests, bishops and popes of the 20th century. They lived through the tragic events of that century, but they were not overwhelmed by them. For them, God was more powerful; faith was more powerful.”

Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Father James Martin offered that the biographical differences between major figures in the history of the church are part of what made their spiritual quests compelling.

Consider how the personalities of some of the most notable men and women in the church led them to live out their calls. St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits, gave up a military career to follow God; St. Joan of Arc began one. Dorothy Day, the co-founder of the Catholic Worker movement, started a newspaper, while St. Bernadette Soubirous, the visionary of Lourdes, shrank in horror from the idea of her story ever being published. St. Thomas Aquinas spent his life surrounded by books, while St. Francis of Assisi instructed his friars not to own even one lest they become too proud.”

Ahead of the weekend’s event, Pope Francis showed glimpses of that complexity on Friday, when he made a seemingly rare statement to a group of African bishops in which he strongly condemned abortion.

Abortion compounds the grief of many women who now carry with them deep physical and spiritual wounds after succumbing to the pressures of a secular culture which devalues God’s gift of sexuality and the right to life of the unborn.”

Pope Francis has made a habit of focusing on poverty and social inequality rather than abortion, which remains a divisive issue both within and beyond the Catholic church. Two weeks before, he had called abortion “an unspeakable crime” during a speech to an Italian anti-abortion group.

The above link is a place you want to look for if you want to give for life.  Were going to win the war on babies in this country.

The polls have shown most of you are Pro-Life and I challenge all of us to meet that goal.  To bring back a Culture of Life to America which we have never seen before.

Many of you look around at your friends born after 1973 and keep in mind your mother didn’t abort you.  I’m not giving you a guilt trip.  This is an observation that you survived the “war” against life.  This means you count.  Its going to be up to your generation to get the ball going and support the most needed commodity in our society—THE HUMAN BEING KNOWNS AS THE HUMAN EMBRYO AND PART OF THE HUMAN RACE.

Science says you weren’t a toaster in your mother’s womb when she conceived you.  Your part of two people–a biological mother and a father.   Two toasters couldn’t conceive and come up with a human being so its safe to say you had to be formed by two human people.

So I urge and inspire you all to fight peacefully for a culture of life in the future.  Not the Culture of Death that we invented under false pretenses in 1973.

The world is afraid of the life movement because the world knows that secretly it has  been covering up lies for many years– over 30 to be exact.  All in the name of so-called respect for women’s rights.

The Suffragettes didnt fight to abort the human race.  They fought to help women achieve equal status.  So I ask how does aborting life resolve equality among the two genders?  It doesn’t.  It has nothing to do with equal rights because where are the rights of both people who conceived this child.  The rights of the child have never been considered until now.

If you say we need population control guess again because the food on this planet has kept up with the human race.  Take it from the granddaughter of a Strawberry farmer.  It makes sense that human nature and nature would keep up with itself.  Its common sense which is what we need today.

You can also check out the stats on population at the Population Control Institute.   Also check out Demographic Winter its quite enlightening.

So are you a Human Being or a Toaster??????  Donate today if you can and with what you can.  Get involved in the Culture of Life.  Its your legacy of the future.  My time is almost over.  I only have time to pass the baton to all of you.  Life might just be your saving grace of the future.  Its been mine.  Many of you might not believe in God but to my brothers and sisters who do GOD BLESS YOU ALL EVERYONE.

The above is the fifth episode in the ongoing series The Catholic View for Women.  You will find this a most unusual but informative channel for Christians in the Catholic Church.  If your non-Christian tune in and  welcome for an interesting perspective on women and life in the Catholic Church.  One that was never lost in the Catholic Church but misunderstood all along and one we are discovering anew and ancient.

Some of you are my brothers and sisters in the Catholic Church and many of you will probably not accept or reject this message but it is the true message of the Magisterium.

We all know what the message of the world is-its false where life is concerned.  The Catholic Church is stated this way:  we must be reminded is that we are not of the world but in the world.  That says much to us from the time Christ gave us His Bride.

You dont have to take my word for this but check this out and do your own research.

If you have been gone for a while we welcome you back and we invite you to study the Catechism of the Catholic Church and primarily your Catholic Bible to start with.

Were waiting for you.

A brief biography and commentary of “Jane Roe” in the 1973 landmark case for abortion.

Norma Leah Nelson McCorvey born September 22, 1947 in Simmesport Louisiana.

She would become one of the most controversial figures in American Justice.  The landmark case of Roe v. Wade as “Jane Roe” in 1973.

Norma would have a long battle from pro-choice to pro-life.  She was befriended by Pro-Life Activist Flip Benham from the Pro-Life group Operation Rescue.  She would be baptized a Christian and go on to be a Roman Catholic.  In her autobiography she has professed to be a lesbian and surprisingly enough has since recanted this lifestyle.

Allegedly she has stated she was a pawn of two very ambitious lawyers for this case in the Supreme Court.  One Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffee.  The case would challenge and attempt to overturn a  Texas State law prohibiting abortion.

Eventually she would grow to regret this decision.  The story is that Norma stated she was raped when she was around 21 years.  She has since stated that this is a lie.  Her child was never aborted and gave birth to a baby girl who was eventually adopted.

She has admitted as others have that abortion procedure has harmful consequences towards women.  Her petition to the Supreme Court to overturn Roe in 2005 has been rejected.

Today May 17th 2009 at Notre Dame a protest is taking place because the of the implications of a sitting President to receive an Honorary Degree from a Catholic University because of his stance on abortion is considered null and void on record at the Catholic Conference of Bishops of the United States.

Obama has stated that healthy, peaceful disagreement is a good thing and I agree.

At this historical date May 17,  2009 while writing this commentary 30 brave pro-lifers are sitting in jail from a peaceful march on the campus of Notre Dame University at Indiana for protesting and trespassing.  Many of them laypeople and famous alike.  One is Dr. Alan Keyes, political activist and diplomat.

President Obama and others want this barbaric practice and sacrifice of innocent lives rare but we cant have it both ways.  We cant keep sending tax dollars overseas for so called reproductive rights and not find sensible solutions to our problems as well.  Especially in these uncertain economic times.

According to the Pro-Life movement abortion not only degrades a woman’s dignity it also harms her physically, emotionally and mentally.  The question is what rights do the unborn have? Sonograms are proving  a child is in the womb and its life.  Places like Rachael’s Vineyard are speaking and counseling with those who are both male and female suffering from post abortive negative fallout.  Can we keep looking the other way?

The slogan today seems to be and I agree, “Women and Men deserve better than abortion.”  Since 1973 over 50,000,000+ (Not including the count around the world.) babies have been aborted and one question I have asked is, who have we aborted?  Did we abort someone who would find the cure for cancer, AIDS or even the next peacemaker of the Middleast? Someone’s future partner in marriage?  Our world leaders–who will it be in the future to solve these economic crises that crop up on occasion? The list goes on.

Pro-Choice movement wants reproductive rights but what will the cost be to America and the world at large for future generations? Do they understand the whole picture? There is the Pro and the Con but whose side has the better argument for a better future for America?

Only the future will tell out on the issue of Life.

I hope I’m a good thinker.  My hope is to see Roe v. Wade as its subject–Norma McKorvey- (Sadly Norma has passed away.) who was Jane Roe watch the abortion problem die.  After all that is why she protested it along with others and getting jailed for it.  She admitted to the lie Roe v. Wade is built on. It is not what it seems because ask yourself why would this women try to change this heinous law she was instrumental in? Even if you have a religious or no  religious affiliation you can reason this subject out. Ask yourselves why the true Suffragettes didn’t sanction abortion?  They didn’t because they knew it was against the dignity of women.  They knew it didn’t give them any gains–men still got what they wanted when women abort and aborted.

In terms of simplicity I’m going to make this column short and sweet.  Abortion, hmm, think about it, how does it serve women?  Men still won they still allow women to abort the child they both created.  Men wrote the decision at the Supreme Court allowing it to continue.  It never changed for women you still are giving into a decision you may not want.  Where is the empowerment in this? You still suffer when you get an abortion.  You can suffer Post Traumatic Syndrome, drug addition, regret for an abortion and your self-respect in the end.  If you go over and do your homework you can find out more information at Priests for Life and Rachael’s Vineyard.

It is a form of slavery.   This child in the womb is just considered a “thing” and not a human being in the womb.  This is the same meaning in the time of slavery.  Your child doesn’t have to be born and that child never decided for itself.  It never got the chance to live. Their rights have been taken away by those in authority who deem it not a pre-born child.  The fact of the matter is its getting down to the finish line.  The finish line is birth and the child can be killed even after birth.  So we now have a new slave master—the Supreme Court, Congress and public opinion in the polls.

Science is finding through improved technology that life does begin at the time of conception.  One example is the new sonogram technology.  It is showing each and every one of us  a human baby in the womb.  A moving life.  We didn’t reason this out in 1973.  Many thought it was a toaster or a blob of cellular material. We all just went ahead and said its just tissue and blob.  Well were finding out that this is our “neighbor” in the womb.  Were wondering now who we claimed in the 50,000,000 + aborted babies daily, hourly and in the minute. Could it be another Einstein or another great person.  Even a child who was born with Downs Syndrome is a joy to the world. If we would only let it be. Support those who can give birth no matter what.

We have to ask ourselves philosophically have we killed those we needed the most in society?  Even the least we have housed in jails. Everyone can make a difference and a purpose towards society and serve a great potential within each of us for a better or greater good.

It’s not true feminism.  Women havent been freed.  When you go for an abortion most women who have experienced this have said—-“I had no choice.”  “I had to do it.”  Where is the choice or freedom in this?  Who chose this for me? Society chose this for you and gave you the right to terminate—kill your unborn child.

What kind of choice or true feminism is this.  How is this liberating.  Liberation means you are free to choose the  way it aught to be in society.  Men don’t always give you a choice to let this child be born or accept this child as a real human being to live. Women don’t let men choose to let the child be born either.

Men, women and family members say get rid of the child.  The child will ruin your life.  Its a bad time.  Again, what choice is this?  You only got one choice my friend and no support is what you hear.  So there is not real choice in this decision.  No real support sometimes from family, friends and male companions. Choice to me is the freedom to do the right thing for the natural law.

True feminism is the right to be female.   To be a real woman and to make well-informed decisions.  Well informed decision with a real male partner who is mature enough to know true right from wrong.  A well formed conscience in each and everyone of us. To have a life partner we chose who is in line with our ideals. If no life partner at least a place to go if you decide to have your baby in freedom of choice. To make a well informed choice and life for that baby.  Whether you keep the child or give it to parents who can nurture said person.

I’m not saying we don’t make mistakes and this is a perfect world but its time to reconsider this so-called vision called abortion.

We need true feminism as John Paul II and former Popes have spoken of on the dignity and beauty of women.  Its time women took back true feminism and motherhood.  You have the right to choose motherhood anytime in your life.

There are people who will help you.  You have a right to the real feminism not the non-sense spewed at all of us since the 1960’s and 1970’s.

We need to allow women the right to choose.  Ladies don’t sell yourselves short.  You have choices and you can make them responsibly even if you have made mistakes.  After all life is for making right decisions and correcting and forgiving ourselves for the wrong one’s we make.
