Frank Walker from Canon212

This is March 25, 2020 and I’m done with my Mass online etc. Now I’m surfing my Roku and watching my free viewing which I call it.  That’s my playtime. The Lord comes first. In my imperfect I have a built in forgetter on that one sometimes.  So forgive me Lord when I forget.

Now I love all of our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Catholic Faith.  Especially those in the Independent Catholic Media. Some I agree almost wholeheartedly with and some not so much.  Now Catholic Liberal Media is another story altogether. I digress because this isn’t about them its about Independent Catholic Media.

Barring typos and some mistaken information, we for the most part get true sound accurate information from our Independent Catholic Media.  Of that I am grateful. Now this brings information brings me to Mr. Frank Walker.  Some of you know him and maybe some of you don’t.  He runs Canon212 on You Tube. Like other people of media we love some and not some. That unfortunately is the media condition from the public.

What I’m not grateful for in this regard and the subject of Canon212/Frank Walker is this: That in our so-called infinite wisdom we are attacking each other.  Now we all have another one to pick on.  Newish kid on the block. Were all critics I think when a new person comes along. It seems that way with Canon 212 and that would be Mr. Frank Walker for now. Now, until another Apostolate comes along.

I watch him now and then as I watch most of Independent Catholic Media.  Like many of you I like him.  Apparently many of you don’t care for his kind of flair and have a problem with the You Tube program. You all know who you are online so I’m not going to name names here.  No more introductions on that score.  Its far from necessary at this point. Now I probably don’t agree with everything Frank says all of the time either.  Permit me now Canon212 to call you Frank in all due politeness.  Frank like the rest of em’—- you do raise some good points most of the time to.  Especially about the problems of the day in our troubling times in the Catholic Faith and the Church itself. None of us are perfect. God really knows I’m not.

This being said. I hear not everyone likes Frank too much lately.  Well not too long ago I remember observing that the finger pointing was thrown at many of you on Independent Catholic Media. Probably will continue to be so when a certain topic comes up. Most finger pointing is coming from if not all in the direction of the Church at large, both clergy and Bishops etc. and the Liberal Catholic Media to whom many came a-calling against each and everyone of you. Hopefully we the faithful rose to occasion on all of your behalf.  You all seem to be flourishing and for that I hope we the faithful are grateful.

Then as now we all stood up for each other against the enemy—-Satan.  Well the enemy isn’t Frank or anyone at Independent Catholic Media.  The enemy isn’t really the Liberal Catholic Media.  We know the true enemy.  The enemy is now trying to conquer and divide. He isn’t taking prisoners and never will.

Were all Catholics and that means Universal Christian.  The time is to reach out to our brothers and sisters of Independent Catholic Media  to correct and encourage even when we find greatness.  To correct when our people are in error as prescribed in the Bible, Canon Law and the Catechism. With charity. We aren’t gossip rags. I say this badly and I’m humbly trying here.

I know its hard for me to take the truth sometimes to.  Its hard to take correction far worse than praise.  I wish for wisdom from our Lord everyday in all things. I know to that I’m imperfect a lot. We all wish we could be articulate and impeccable in our speech always.  Its not the case totally.

Frank made a mistake because he didn’t have all of the truth on a certain brother of ours were praying for.  He got picked on.  Most of know what its like to get picked on or at least most of us do except maybe the bully.  If were fortunate in God maybe the bully might get a taste of his own medicine and feel what its like on the other end. Not that Independent Catholic Media are bullies. Not at all and I mean this for sure.

Again as I say, “No one is perfect.”. No one. Accept of course one person and we all serve Him. I have to write this because I was inspired to and I fear the Lord on the Judgment Day same as all of you.

Its time we all came together as one even with our differences of opinion.  Were not living in grand times and we never have as Catholics.  Sure we experience short times in peace.  We all know the evil one gets inspired now and then with our help to have our allow for something like today.

If there is a need for correction and our fight against the enemy its now.  Then we do so in our only perfection and wisdom which we ask of Him. The perfect He bestows during troubling times like these. Do me a favor please.  As a person who isn’t perfect,  reach out to that person privately and correct as were asked to do so in the Church.  If he or she has erred in their speech or actions then this is the time to act.  Don’t make it hard for that person who is trying to help others to.  Find a way to get creative with that person and do so in a charitable way.  Your all eloquent enough in your Apostolates. So I’m going to raise the case for Frank Walker and case for all of us.

Do it with charity, clarity and hope its reciprocated amongst us at all times.  Do it in the friendship of the Lord. He is watching us big time after all.  People tell me there is always room for improvement.

So next time we encounter Frank have a little discernment.  We can all use it.  I sure need it now and then to.

“In other words, the letter of Cdl. Re —who obviously did not write on his own initiative — is truly a call to his brother cardinals to isolate Cdl. Zen, even to the point of making one think that the elimination of the archbishop emeritus of Hong Kong is part of the secret agreement.”

“Matt Walsh on the reality of Satan”

“It is important to note how Luke begins his account of the temptation. He says that Christ “was led” to the desert by the Holy Spirit “to be tempted by the Devil.” We are meant to understand that Jesus was not caught off guard by any of this. It was no sneak attack by Satan — at least not a successful ambush. Our Lord went out there to meet him and engage with him. And He did actually engage. He could have swatted the Devil away like a fly. He could have denied the Evil One permission to approach Him in the first place. Instead, He talks to him. He seems almost to humor him.”

Truth2Freedom's Blog

“He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” - Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
