(Remnant Audio Article) Tired of open season on Catholic priests? Sick of the distorted image of modern, weak and emasculated priests tainting the memory and the legacy of the hundreds of thousands of heroic priests of the past? It’s time to tell the stories of real Catholic priests, both in the past and living today. Father Vince Capodanno is one of them. He offered the old Latin Mass every day, gave his life for his friends on the battlefield, and is the ultimate ‘missionary of mercy.’ Here’s his story, narrated by Michael J. Matt.

BLOGGER’S NOTE:  In the wake of Hurricane Harvey almost a week on now.  I write this note in correspondence with the above story for inspiration to those who are tired, worn out  and at the end of their tether.

HOLD ON AND HOLD OUT TEXAS! WE ALL LOVE YOU HERE AND EVERYWHERE.

YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES AND WE WILL SEE ALL OF SURVIVE THIS.

WE AMERICANS ARE DOG FACES AND WE CAN ENDURE.

MAY GOD LOVE YOU AND KEEP YOU DURING THE DAY AND INTO THE DARKNESS.

PLEASE RESPOND EVEN IF YOU HAVE YOUR LAST CENT UNTIL PAYDAY. IF YOU CAN’T THEN PRAY THAT WE RECOVER. THAT WE RECOVER EVERY TIME WE SEE DIVERSITY IN THIS COUNTRY AND BEYOND.

THE LORD IS ALWAYS WITH US EVEN AT THE END OF A LONG DARK TUNNEL—LOOK AND YOU WILL SEE THAT LIGHT SHINING FOR YOU.

GOD BLESS THE U.S.A —-ALWAYS.

The Servant Brothers of the Home of the Mother have produced this documentary about the life of Saint Maximilian Mary Kolbe, an outstanding Catholic figure of the 20th century.
Kolbe was a man with great apostolic zeal, a precursor in the use of the Mass Media for the transmission of the Gospel and consumed his life with the testimony of love as a martyr of charity in Auschwitz. The source of his zeal was his passionate love for the Mother of God, the Immaculate. In the midst of many exterior difficulties, physically limited by his tuberculosis, he worked passionately for the spread of the Gospel. He was a missionary in Japan, and his publications reached as far as India, China, and even Arabia. He founded a city in Poland called Niepokalanow dedicated to the Blessed Virgin.
Saint Maximilian Mary is an example of generosity in the surrendering of oneself to God and encourages us to foment a tender devotion to Mary. To belong to the Immacualte was his ideal. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. We too feel called to announce the Gospel using the social means of communication. We would like to offer the majority of our programs for free so that they may greater serve others in their coming closer to Christ. We have begun this path and we need some help in improving our few technical means. If God calls you to help us economically or donate the technical equipment necessary, please contact us. For the glory of God and the honor of our Lady, the Immaculate One,
Thank you!

NOTE:   Please note that the above video does not contribute to anti-Semitism.  I take it as a teaching from our Lord Jesus Christ to the Jewish people from our religious who study the biblical and theology disciplines.

Personal Note:  I cant help feeling that many of our Saints who have been martyred and those yet to come will be of need in the future when the darkness comes again. I’m afraid our lord has predicted such time as we do not know.   I hope this wont be so for a long time.  Our Lady has told that a period of peace will come that she has spoken of many times.

Hopefully we will need these Saints or others in the future.  Emulate them.  Take on some of their crosses.  Cultivate what God has given all of you and use it during these times.  Perhaps we to will be Saints.

The Lord is coming soon.  He has said so.  That day we do not know but we must always be as the Virgins and others mentioned in the Gospel yet awaiting the Bridegroom.  Be prepared and watchful.

Learn brothers and sisters from these ones that God has put amongst us to know and love as they have loved us and will love you and me now and in the future.

There is always a bright light shining in the dark and it has been cast for us in some form by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He has told us so and it is so.

As John Paul II said, “Do not be afraid.”  Our Lord has said this as well spoken of by the prophets.

The light burns bright in the darkness.  That light as we know is Jesus Christ.  Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

Brother Maximilian was such a small light cast by our Lord for future use as are others down through the centuries from the time of the Apostles.

Use what Maximillian and others like him have given us.  Learn from those who are in the church who are being forged as well.  As our Lord said take what is good and make use of it.  Learn above all from our Lord’s example as best we can.

God Bless to all,

Holly
