Dear Friends,
On Easter morning, we, together with the holy women who faithfully stood by Our Lord in His Passion and at His Death, find ourselves before His empty tomb. The tomb recalls the profound anguish of the death and burial of Christ, God the Son Incarnate, Who desired to suffer the cruelest of passions and to undergo the most ignominious execution known at the time, in order to free us forever from sin and from its most poisonous fruit, eternal death. But the empty tomb is full of light and within it is the Easter Angel. It is no longer the tomb but the Holy Sepulcher, the witness of a mystery, of the mystery of all mysteries: the mystery of the Divine Love which is our salvation. The tomb is empty not because someone has taken away the body of the Savior.
The Easter Angel announces to the holy women – and to us – the mystery to which the Holy Sepulcher gives witness:
Do not be amazed; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen, he is not here; see the place where they laid him. But go tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you (Mk 16, 6-7).
God, in His immeasurable and unceasing love for man, has sent His only-begotten Son in our human flesh, to accomplish in the same flesh the victory over sin, the victory of eternal life. The Risen Lord goes before us always in the Church and is always at our side in the Church to lead us on the way that leads to eternal life.
Our human life is, therefore, changed forever, in the most profound manner possible. From the day of the Resurrection of the Lord, we, who are reborn in Him through Baptism, live in Him. We who have been adopted by God the Father in His only-begotten Son, Who has died and is risen from the dead, live in Christ. We are alive in Christ. He, alive in us through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our souls, goes before us, guides us, so that our earthly pilgrimage may reach its true destiny: eternal life in the presence of God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and in the company of the angels and all the saints.
For this reason, Saint Paul exhorts us with all concreteness and great realism, commanding us: “Clean out the old leaven that you may be new dough, as you really are unleavened” (1 Cor 5, 7). He does not give us an abstract or idealistic order, outside of our capacity. By ourselves alone, we cannot live free from “the leaven of malice and evil” (1 Cor 5, 8). It is the Holy Spirit, Whom the Risen Lord sends into our hearts from His glorious pierced Heart, Who transforms us, in order that we can live “with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Cor 5, 8). We are no longer the slaves of our sins and of the Prince of Darkness. We are true sons of God, brothers and sisters of the Risen Christ, free cooperators with His grace which is always abundant and which is never lacking. Our destiny in Christ, as adopted sons and daughters in Him, is not the tomb, but eternal life. When we die, our body will be placed in the tomb to await the day of the Resurrection of the Body at the Final Coming of Christ. The Holy Spirit, dwelling within us, makes us capable of what would otherwise be impossible for us: capable of living in accord with the truth and love of Christ, now and in eternity.
Surely, we face the difficult challenges of daily Christian living, of the deceptions of the Evil One, and of our own weakness. Surely, we live at a tumultuous time in the world, a time of an international health crisis, about which we know so little and about which we daily receive confusing and even contradictory reports, and even in the Church, beset by so much confusion and error. But we gaze upon the Holy Sepulcher, and we know the truth to which it witnesses. We remain firm and strong, confident that the Lord has indeed risen from the dead and that He goes before us and is at our side in the daily battle to remain faithful to Him, to live in accord with the truth and love which have their abundant and inexhaustible source in His Most Sacred Heart. Our hearts, placed in His Sacred Heart, receive the wisdom and the courage to live faithfully our identity as true sons and daughters of God in Him.
United with the Virgin Mother of God, with the holy women, with Saint Peter and the other witnesses to the Resurrection of Our Lord throughout the Christian centuries, in short, united to the whole Communion of Saints, we look upon the empty tomb of the Lord, the Holy Sepulchre, and we receive, with confidence, the announcement of the Easter Angel that assures us that Christ is risen and that He goes before us, in order to meet us always in the Church, above all, in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist. Let us, today and every day, lift up our hearts, one with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to His Sacred Heart. Let us consecrate our hearts to His Sacred Heart, in order to live always in His company, in communion of heart with Him.
A story is told about the saintly Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, Archbishop of Gniezno and Warsaw in Poland and Primate of Poland, who was first imprisoned and then placed under house arrest by the Communist government, beginning in September of 1953. He and those who assisted him witnessed the inhuman treatment, indeed torture and execution, of so many prisoners. One of those who was assisting him during the time of his house arrest expressed, one day, fear about who might arrive at the door. The fear was not unfounded. The Cardinal is said to have responded that, when fear knocks at the door, courage opens the door, and there is no one there. In other words, in times of suffering and even death, we must have the courage of those who are alive in Christ. We cannot give way to fear, which is a natural sentiment in time of danger but which Satan uses to take away our Christlike courage. Rather, we must have ever greater confidence in Our Lord Who will never abandon us. If we go forward with courage, yes, there will be suffering, but there will not be defeat. When courage opens the door, what we feared so much will not be there because Christ is with us. Rather, there will be the victory of Christ in our human flesh. In the present and most grave situation in which we are living in the world and in the Church, let us remember the example of the Venerable Cardinal Wyszyński. When fear would overcome us, let us be courageous in Christ Who indeed is risen and lives in us.
Let us place all our trust in our Risen Lord, making completely our own the prayer of the Psalmist, sung so beautifully on this day of Our Lord’s Resurrection:
This is the day which the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Save us, we beg, O LORD!
O LORD, we beg you, give us victory (Ps 118 [117], 24-25).
I am praying for you and with you. Let us be strong together, firm and courageous witnesses to the mystery of God’s truth and love at work within us. Please pray for me.
May your celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord bring lasting joy and peace to your home, and steadfast trust and courage to your heart.

Doors to Coffin Nation are now open. From now until July 25 you can join our community of culture restorers. We Go There. http://www.coffinnation.com

***********************************************************************

It’s one of the most irritating problems in life, whether in the media ecosystem, politics, home life, or the Church: messenger-shooting.

What I mean is: we criticize and seek to silence (or shame) those who speak out either as whistleblowers, or as voices of objection raised against actual corruption.

In this video I give five examples of who this can happen:

1. In families where everyone walks on eggshells to enable the addict, and, if anyone dares to rock the boat, they are punished, or ignored, or scapegoated as a troublemaker.

2. Quillette journalist Andy Ngo brought a camera to Portland, OR, to cover the thug-coward group Antifa (you know, anti-fascist) and was “milkshaked,” surrounded and shoved, and then punched so hard he was put in the hospital. Andy was accused of being a “provocateur” who was dumb to show up there to begin with.

3. British writer (and atheist) Douglas Murray has been on the lonely forefront of candidy pointing out the dangers posed by Islamist militants in the UK. When two of them beheaded UK soldier Lee Rigby in broad daylight (shouting “Allahu Akbar”), Murray covered it. For his troubles, he has been called an Islamophobe, “divisive” and a general rabble rouser. Same could be said (perhaps worse) of Tommy Robinson.

In the Church, we have:

4. Monsignor Anthony Figueredo, the erstwhile priest assistant to then Cardinal Ted McCarrick. When he went public with what he knew, he was similarly scapegoated and dismissed.

5. The highest profile of all, the open letters of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò laid bare the serious allegation that Pope Francis must have known about the homosexual predator behavior of McCarrick, and other grave offenses, and called for his resignation. Again, the liberal press—for whom Pope Francis is a central mascot figure—pounced to denounce him. The Catholic left piled on with slurs like “liar” and “careerist.” That a retired, 78-year-old archbishop was in it for career advancement beggars belief.

We’re never attract converts as long as we ignore, deny, and deflect from some obvious truths. Let’s cut the crap. The truths sets us free, particularly the uncomfortable ones.

“We go there” is the motto of Coffin Nation, THE culture building community. The summer door opening ends July 25. To join and connect with like-minded Catholics (and others), click here: http://www.coffinnation.com

The below answer was from a question I asked the Facebook Subscription referring to a Facebook site on Father John Corapi.

My question was:

Did Father John return to the Priesthood? I know I last saw him on Linked [In Page].
Father Corapi Catholic site reply:
“That Linked In Page is fake and is being operated by an imposter, we have reported it to the authorities but so far they have ignored all requests to take it down.

As for Father Corapi leaving the Priesthood, please do not believe hearsay and gossip which has been promoted by liberal haters of orthodox Catholic teaching which is what Father always taught, Bishops who are behaving immorally and promoting same-sex marriage absolutely hate preachers like Father Corapi because he was publicly singling them out as heretics to the true Catholic Church established by Jesus Christ.

This is a brief explanation outlining this false accusation (..in case you have been misinformed by the many lies that have been circulated by those who do not like Father’s straightforward and undiluted teaching of authentic Catholic Doctrine.).

Allegedly – Fr. John Corapi was accused of sexual misconduct, drug abuse and financial improprieties.

Thousands of international catholics believe in his innocence. We have congregated across the world in staunch defense of his unjust victimization. We are spiritual warriors because of Fr. Corapi, and now we battle to reinstate his impeccable reputation, honor, and to deliver him from such accusations.
He was ordained a Priest within the order of the Society of Our Lady of the Trinity, also known as S.O.L.T. He did not receive a fair hearing or review by Church authorities or by his peers. They demanded he surrender his civil and legal rights, which he refused to do. Within only three short weeks after the false accusation, mediated by a trio of unknown so-called ‘experts’ who showed preferential treatment to the accuser, and he was finished. He was not even allowed to examine the evidence, much less defend himself. Not a single member of his staff was interviewed. Caught ‘between a rock and a hard place’ Father resigned from public ministry.

Certain people have access to Fr. Corapi’s preaching and teaching ministry.  People would also have access to Fr. Corapi’s media operation; including telephones, text messaging, email, and all relevant sources of communications. Furthermore, certain persons have access to private contacts and information regarding Fr. Corapi’s business when employed by him.  It would not be hard to work with this kind of information for personal gain.

ln today’s world certain bishops are not defending their priests.
We, the members of the body of Christ, support Fr. Corapi and many other falsely accused priests throughout the world, and indeed there are many (over 1,000). The zero tolerance policies do not treat our Priests with the same rights as the accusers. It is impossible to find Fr. Corapi guilty of all those accusations.

SOLT’s ‘fact finding team’ did not even interview employees at Santa Cruz Media, nor Fr. Corapi himself, nor anyone who was associated with him.

Their claim of Fr. Corapi having inappropriate amounts of money is also an insult.

The courts compensated Fr. Corapi after he became a whistleblower against a fraudulent healthcare company.

Fr. Corapi gave so much to charitable institutions and to SOLT, yet the silence of his generosity is deafening.

In a civil court of law this case would be thrown out immediately. One solitary letter of accusation without any evidence corroboration.
The Church rules proposed by the bishops, including ‘zero tolerance’ for Priests who faced allegations of abuse, were drawn up in a short amount of time under intense public scrutiny. Certain rash ‘decisions’ were made under intense heat and pressure, caused by the sex scandals inside the Church, to take drastic action in order to satisfy the demands of the media and public. This is clearly what happened to Fr. Corapi. He even offered to take a drugs test but they were not interested. That, within itself cries ‘foul’ – when the accused is offering his very own body to be examined only to be rejected, is indeed an injustice. SOLT’s ‘fact finding team’ rushed through this decision to appease the likes of SNAP and many others who bear personal grudges against Priests.

It is rather heartbreaking to know that Fr. Corapi’s public ministry has been taken away by just one letter.

They did not lift a finger to investigate this correctly through fear of scandal, yet by their actions they have caused more scandal.

Father prays the Rosary and celebrates Mass daily for all his faithful supporters. He remains silent out of love for the Church and even though he is suffering in the aftermath of this false accusation, he will not go against the Church in any way. He lives in Montana and until he is exonerated he will not be giving any talks or communicating publicly. Father John is offering this up for all, and in God’s time He will exonerate him.

Father Corapi was, and still is hated by the Evil One, as well as by many liberal individuals both outside and inside the Church.  Father loves the Church and never left the Church, he resigned from public ministry because he had no choice. He is, and always will be a Priest.

We are doing everything possible to help clear his name and are very confident that Christ will soon win the victory for his chosen apostle Father John Corapi.

Our Blessed Mother in Heaven will surely intercede for her beloved Priest who has brought thousands upon thousands of souls into, or back into, the Catholic Church by passing on the Faith without subverting or diluting it, unlike many Bishops, Priests and ‘Theologians’ are doing today.

Fr. Corapi’s Catechism series and many of his other talks on our Facebook Page and YouTube channel are still bringing new converts into the Catholic Church, as well as bringing back fallen away cradle Catholics – we don’t make this claim lightly – the proof is in the public comments.

Please tell your friends and family to pray and do penance for more than one thousand falsely accused Priests worldwide, and to continue watching Father’s videos on this  YouTube Channel where they are all freely accessible.

“Statement from Bishop Daly on the ongoing Abuse Crisis. Bishop Thomas Daly is the 7th Bishop of the Diocese of Spokane.
“As a bishop, I am called to be a father, and part of that role is to protect those entrusted to my spiritual care. I am committed to protecting children and vulnerable adults in our churches. I am committed to ensuring our seminarians receive formation in a safe environment, and that our priests, religious and lay staffers labor in workplaces free from harassment.”
“During times of great sin in the world, God always raises up holy priests and religious to call the world to faith in Christ. During times of corruption and degeneracy in the clergy, God raises up holy lay women and men to call the Church back to holiness. We need the laity to help lead the way.”

BLOGGER’S NOTE:  Two thumbs up for this Bishop and anyone God raises up to protect the faithful from corruption and degeneracy anywhere in and out of the Church.  Waiting for other gutsy Bishops to do the same.

Truth2Freedom's Blog

"There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
