“We could still see the smell of the new hosts. It is as if Jesus had been swallowed up by the earthquake and left alive among the ruins, “said the bishop of Ascoli Piceno, the diocese of the parish.

Fr. Angelo Ciancotti, of the cathedral, could not hold back his tears. He was the first to have the pyramid in his hands.

He had promoted the attempts of recovery that only now could be effected, removing the whole tabernacle struck by the debris and covered with dust.

The keys should no longer serve. However, Father Angelo had kept one in the hope of reopening the house of Jesus. And it worked right away.”

CAUTION: This is shown for example only. This is not a picture of what happened. I am showing an example of what a Eucharist Miracle is. The story also reflects what a Priest does when he encounters this phenomena which occurs in the Church occasionally.

Another story of Eucharistic Miracle………………………

This happened in California, NOT NOLA. Thanks be to God!!! After distributing the Holy Eucharist at Mass today, I purified my hands and proceeded to my chair in the sanctuary. I was there for maybe 3 or 4 mintues in prayer as the deacon was removing the sacred vessels, corporal, purificators, etc. from the altar. Then he did something unusual. He brought me the ciborium where he had placed all the remaining hosts from Mass. He wanted me to see something. One of the hosts had blood on it. Certainly the blood of Christ. There was no question what it was. The deacon wanted to know what to do with it. I consumed it reverently. At every Mass the Sacrifice of Christ is made present on the altar. But sometimes God wills to reveal Himself, His presence, to people in an extraordinary manner, openly and miraculously. This is God’s doing. My preaching today was on the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist in His body, blood, soul and divinity.

On October 13, 1917 a crowd believed to be approximately 70,000 in number, gathered at the Cova da Iria fields near Fátima, Portugal. According to many witness statements, after a downfall of rain, the dark clouds broke and the sun appeared as an opaque, spinning disk in the sky. Many skeptics believe that the event was natural and meteorological in nature. But, how does one explain that the event occurred at the exact time predicted by three young children ?

I find these miracles interesting not because they manifest themselves but because were reminded that Jesus is always present among all of the faithful and the world at large.  Seen and unseen.  Were not obligated to believe in these miracles happening in the world but its nice when God decides to manifest himself under the species of the Eucharist.  God Bless and Peace to His faithful.
