Fr. Isaac explains important remedies which all Catholics should avail themselves of in this current crisis. Yes, there is a virus going around, but other things are also at work. Some “never let a crisis go to waste,” using it as an opportunity to accomplish nefarious purposes. We know this is happening because things continue to escalate. The whole world is on ‘shutdown.’ This has never happened before. Only essentials services are being allowed, but none of these are spiritual. All our freedoms are restricted. People are being isolated, which instills fear and despair. Do we not see how the ‘Errors of Russia’ warned against by Our Lady of Fatima have indeed spread through the entire world? Yet God never abandons us, even when we abandon Him. People are afraid of dying, of being imprisoned, but no one fears God! The first remedy is we must stop sinning. Otherwise God’s wrath increases and things continue to worsen. Other crucial remedies include Praying the Rosary and turning to Our Lady, practicing daily Mental Prayer, and mortifying our selves through prayer and penance.

Last Sunday After Pentecost
by Fr. Francis Xavier Weninger, 1877

“And there shall appear the sign of the Son of man in the heavens.”–Matt. 24, 30.

“We are assured by Holy Scripture that man’s life is a warfare, and only those, most beloved in Christ, who valiantly fight, and bear away the palm of victory, will be rewarded by hearing those consoling words which are enunciated in the Gospel, which speaks of the signs which shall herald the end of the world: “Lift up your heads, because your redemption is at hand.”
Man is free; salvation will not be forced upon any one; but Christ has given to every Christian sufficient grace to gain eternal life, while He also gives the admonition: “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
Man, then, must stand the test of freedom here upon earth, wage ceaseless war against the enemies of his salvation, and win a glorious victory against those who strive to turn him from the path of right. Certainly there are many and powerful foes, and yet we can overthrow them all, if we use one weapon, and that is the weapon of the holy cross.”

Here’s a sermon many have waited 30 years to hear. Ironically, it comes from a diocesan priest, fighting Modernism right from within the belly of the beast.

In this Sunday Sermon of South Saint Paul, Father explains his own history growing up Catholic, recalling his childhood in the traditional Church and then recounting how the Revolution tore it all apart.

He explains how he eventually rediscovered Tradition, fell in love with the Latin Mass and decided to dedicate his life to Catholic counterrevolution.

In this sermon, he begs all traditional Catholics–especially the SSPX and the FSSP– to unite–not in emotions or feelings–but rather in the Catholic counterrevolution, against the forces of darkness that would destroy everything we all hold sacred.

Think all diocesan priests have sold out to the Novus Ordo? Think again and #UniteTheClans

In this week’s edition of Sunday Sermons from South Saint Paul, Father takes on what appear to be actual demons who, claiming to be pro-choice, in fact hate your choice, hate you, hate pro-life Americans, and especially hate Supreme Court nominees who might—just might!—put curbs on abortion. The question is this: Why? Why do they hate us? Really! Think about…. Why? The answer is pretty terrifying. (Please Subscribe to The Remnant YouTube Channel)

Sunday Sermons of South St. Paul. Father tackles the question of the Vatican’s rediscovered “seamless garment”– calling it a ‘filthy rag that needs to be burned’ And then he moves on to President Trump, hailing him — from the PULPIT, mind you — as the ‘most pro-life president in 45 years. Given the volatile political climate at present, we really wonder how many other priests in America would have the courage to give this sermon. Many, we hope and pray.

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "...truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity--it is simply true and that is the end of it" - Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” - Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
