U.S. Grace Force

Father Hollowell was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, soon after offering himself to God to help comfort the sex abuse victims. It was an honor to converse with such a selfless man and hear what he has to say about using suffering as a means to combat the enemy.

vincentini-15_1“Could you walk a mile in Jesus’s shoes? The Stations of the Cross bring us closer to Christ as we meditate on the great love He showed for us in His most sorrowful Passion!

You can pray the Stations of the Cross (also known as the Way of the Cross) alone at anytime, but people most often pray them in a group setting Friday nights during Lent.”

BLOGGER’S NOTE:  No guarantees, no promises but its a start for those of you who suffer anxiety issues. Check it out.  Believe me God is listening.

“Don’t worry. Be happy!” It’s not that easy! I know. I used to be plagued with anxiety and I’ve been helping anxious people since 1987.

Perhaps you struggle with anxiety or worry. If so then even at night maybe you can’t seem to slow down and relax. Your mind just won’t let you rest. Why did I say that to him? …What will they think about me? …How am I going to pay my bills? …I have to get over this and be stronger.”

Nguyen Dank Minh Man: Catholic Blogger Vietnam

BLOGGER’S NOTE:  Please pray for this lady, Nguyễn Đặng Minh Mân. A women of faith who suffers for the Spirit of the Lord. Think of those many martyrs of the faith like our own Father Maximillian Kolbe, who in the name of Christ suffered at the hands of tyranny for the faith in the present and the past.

The Western world has no concept about how fortunate we truly are when it comes to our Religious Freedom.  This Religious Freedom can disintegrate at any moment and time just as it has in other parts of the world today. Pray, Pray and Pray that you to can be faithful as this child of God.

Living the Truth the Church Teaches

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "...truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity--it is simply true and that is the end of it" - Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” - Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
