“Although no one knows why the pill affects attraction, some scientists believe that pregnancy — or in this case, the hormonal changes that mimic pregnancy — draws women toward nurturing relatives.

Women who start or stop taking the pill, then, may be in for some relationship problems.”

Cardinal John Onaiyekan

“In a homily last week, Cdl. John Onaiyekan, archbishop of Abuja, called on Nigeria’s Catholics to redouble evangelization efforts through peaceful persuasion and steadfastly living out the Gospel message.

The mission of Nigeria’s Catholics, Onaiyekan affirmed, entails “doing our best to propagate openly the Gospel of Jesus and to welcome all who freely accept faith in Jesus.”

“The mainstream media has done an effective job of brainwashing society”

“In pulling together the recent reports on transgender abuse of children, reparative therapy and the existence of a massive fraud in perpetrating the born-that-way myth, nearly all of the sources Church Militant spoke with agreed that there is a vast conspiracy to manipulate our legal system with legislation to ensure “civil rights” for gays through bogus lawsuits, propaganda and false media reports.

In these series of reports, Church Militant exposed just the tip of the iceberg of this vast network. We discovered coordinated attacks on children and families by the “Big Gay Hate Machine,” a phrase coined by Austin Ruse at Breitbart. Some of our sources asked for anonymity for fear of reprisals. Others are used to the harassment and even death threats and only want the truth exposed.

Arthur Goldberg of Funding Morality.com commented, “The mainstream media has done an effective job of brainwashing society.”

It has long been a tradition of Catholic families to hang crucifixes throughout their homes, or to even have a crucifix embedded into the foundation of the house. Some merely hang the crucifix on the walls of their home as a reminder of Christ’s redemptive sacrifice, but beyond this it is also a sacramental,

This is the devil’s hour, but the Lord will soon have His Day of Victory. But how are we to survive in Egypt during this hour of darkness and peril? The moral pillars that uphold our society are not just wobbling. They have collapsed. We are not just slouching towards Sodom and Gomorrah. We are in these cities like Lot and his family. It is said that when the prophet Elias ascended upwards in a fiery chariot, he let his woolen mantle…his scapular if you will…fall into the hands of the prophet Eliseus. The woolen garment was the habit of Elias, his master. This action of Elias pre-figures the action of Mary who would later let her mantle of salvation…her Brown Scapular…fall into the hands of St. Simon Stock when her spiritual children were in dire need. When the priest enrolled me in the Brown Scapular in years past, he prayed: Receive this blessed Scapular and ask the Most Holy Virgin that, by Her merits, it may be worn with no stain of sin and may protect you from all harm and bring you into everlasting life. If Mary protects us, whom shall we fear? If our Lady crushed the head of Satan himself, then she can certainly protect us from the attacks of demons. Therefore, our Brown Scapulars are a sign and guarantee of salvation, for Mary will never fail us. We hear her words to St. Simon Stock…her solemn, unbreakable promise: Whosoever shall die invested in this habit, shall not undergo the torments of hell. And because of our Lady’s promise in connection with the Sabbatine Privilege, those who wear the Brown Scapular will find a speedy release from Purgatory. There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "...truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity--it is simply true and that is the end of it" - Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” - Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
